Restrictions / Limitations

🚫 Restrictions & Limitations

The Accounting Summary in Wallee is designed to provide a basic overview of account movements during a selected period. It enables simplified bookkeeping and tax reporting β€” but it is not a replacement for a full ERP system.

❗ Intended Use

Use the Accounting Summary for:

  • Simple sub-ledger tracking
  • High-level reconciliation at period end
  • Manual booking of net changes into external systems
  • Cross-checking payouts and revenue movements

🚫 Do not use it as a full financial accounting system. For complex integration please use the reconciliation-tools where we offer a full scale integration.

🌍 Currency Handling

Wallee does not support multi-currency reconciliation in Accounting Summaries.

⚠️ IssueExplanation
No exchange ratesWallee does not apply conversion rates or handle FX differences
Mixed-currency confusionMultiple currencies may distort totals and make summaries unreliable
ERP mismatchExternal systems may calculate balances differently due to FX impacts

πŸ” If your setup includes multiple currencies, we strongly discourage using the Accounting Summary for reconciliation.
